An Entrance Where Time Stands Still

This picture could well have been taken in the 1930's or 1940's, so little the building has changed over the decades.

110 East 42nd St., Manhattan, New York.

Lab2112, this is beautiful!

I tried to comment on it through Flickr, but I can't.

I apologize if there was something you didn't like.

I enjoy looking at these old buildings. Honolulu is so much younger and the old buildings often make way for the new. Somehow the new ones don't have as much character.

Kim, I'm not sure why you couldn't comment on flickr. I'll go check my settings now. It wouldn't surprise me if I screwed something up -- I only seem to get time to upload and comment when I'm half-asleep. Urgh!

acornbud, I agree! Maybe it's my own old fartism talking, but sometimes the old is far better than the new...except for gadget technology, of course! :)
